Down the chute

Fell off the wagon AGAIN the last two days.  I have no idea what to think or say about it.

  1. Are you "back on" the wagon already? RIGHT NOW?

What might help you is pre-planning your meals the night before. If you have a set plan for what you will eat today, you are less likely to venture off-plan. Also, remember that if you DO overeat one day--it's really not the end of the world. It's not any reason to become derailed and "fall off the wagon." Instead, just eat sensibly for the rest of the day and cut back a smidgen in your calories the next day.

Some people find it helpful to think of their calories for a whole week. This makes them think of the "big picture" of weight loss. So, instead of thinking you need to eat 1200 calories a day, some people will think that they can have 8400 calories per week. So if you go over one day, just cut back a little in the subsequent days. Maybe that trick would help?

At any rate, get back on track asap!
